Out with the ziplines of Fracture, in with the LA-inspired Sunset as VALORANT patch 10.08 introduces map pool change.
They weren't lying when they said maps will rotate out much more frequently in 2025. We just recently saw one with Episode 2025 // Act 2 and now with Act 3, another map pool change takes place. When VALORANT patch 10.08 arrives, Fracture exits and Sunset returns.
Let's go over the details.
Sunset replaces Fracture after VALORANT patch 10.08

You can check out the current map pool any time. We update the map rotation whenever it officially changes, so you know what to expect when playing comp.
This also goes for the game's esports scene. All leagues use the competitive map pool in place. It was noted that this change won't happen for VCT events until after Masters Toronto, though.
In patch 10.04, we saw Abyss and Bind leave the rotation in favor of Icebox and Ascent. There are no upcoming changes involving any of those maps. Instead, we see a one-for-one trade when the next Act begins.
VALORANT patch 10.08 comes on April 29, 2025 with Episode 2025 // Act 3, and it takes out Fracture and puts in Sunset. As of now, we don't know if there will be any tweaks to Sunset when it comes back, but we'll let you know when we know.
