In team-based games, understanding your role can be just as crucial as your aim or mechanics. However, what exactly are these roles? Here's a quick breakdown of the different roles you can find across some popular titles.

Gaming roles in VALORANT

In first-person shooter (FPS) games such as VALORANT, Apex Legends, and Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), every player has a purpose. VALORANT, in particular, has the Duelist, Initiator, Sentinel, and Controller roles.
