Perplexed's Wolfdisco talks WoW MDI The War Within Group A

In the post-match interview, Wolfdisco from Perplexed shared his thoughts about the competition. He said that there were definitely things to learn from teams like Polish Mountain and Missed Count. He also acknowledged the difficulty of the Grim Batol and Necrotic Wake dungeons despite not having played them.

"Definitely Grim Batol and Necrotic Wake even though we didn't play it, it was very difficult," Wolfdisco said. "Very volatile. Both dungeons. It's like one guy dies and then it's just over."

When asked about the new Challenger’s Peril affix and its effect on Perplexed's strategy, Wolfdisco said that while it didn't drastically change their approach to MDI, it did make everyone more mindful of the consequences of dying. This is because the affix extends the respawn timer to 15 seconds.

As for his thoughts on compositional changes following the WoW anniversary patch, Wolfdisco said he took notice of Missed Count's use of different classes. He then predicted that there will be some wild cards in the Global Finals.

"We're gonna be keeping a close eye on Mandatory, of course," he added. "I think there's gonna be a lot of evolution of the Group A strats going into Group B. It usually goes [that way]. You kind of build on each other's strats, and then we take their strats off to Group B and work on them even more."
