VALORANT patch 10.06 is here, and the update delivers a small buff to KAY/O and some duration nerfs for Vyse’s abilities.
We're at the start of April 2025, and the first day is a Tuesday. And it is one of those Tuesdays where we get a new update in the Riot Games first-person shooter. Here is VALORANT patch 10.06, with some actually serious tweaks considering it is April Fools' Day.
We see KAY/O get a decent buff, some price changes to Yoru, and a small nerf to Vyse. Then, of course, you've got your slew of bug fixes that make sure the game runs smooth. With VALORANT patch 10.06, there's plenty to cover, so let's dig in.

We'll begin with the Agent updates that we just mentioned. These could definitely be game changing for those who main certain characters, but we don't believe it will shake up the meta too much.
Agent updates
- KAY/O
- FLASH/DRIVE
- Upon bouncing, flashes will now start a .8 second windup and then pop.
- Underhand maximum flash duration increased from 1.2s to 1.5s.
- Increased VO callout range of KAY/O's "flashing" voice line from 20m to 50m.
- Unequip time decreased from .85s to .6s.
- A minimap indicator has been added to the flash for teammates only.
- NULL/CMD
- Ally resurrection time decreased from 3s to 1.5s.

- Cost increased from 100 credits to 200 credits.

Next up in the VALORANT 10.06 patch notes are some updates to performance and player behavior. They're pretty straightforward:
- Improved feedback notifications so you will now more reliably see messages when a cheating report leads to a ban.

Bug fixes in VALORANT patch 10.06
The last part of the VALORANT 10.06 patch notes deals with loads of bug fixes for a just under a dozen Agents. Let's take a look:
- Vyse
- Fixed a bug where Vyse's Arc Rose idle animation stopped looping when crouched.
- Fixed a bug where destroying Vyse's Arc Rose while she was recalling it did not respect the 40 second "destroyed" cooldown.
- Raze
- Fixed an issue where the Blast Pack could knock back Skye's Trailblazer and Tejo's Stealth Drone through walls.
- Clove
- Updated the tooltips to reflect the changes made in patch 10.04.
- Deadlock
- Fixed an issue where hit-confirm sounds on Deadlock's Annihilation cocoon target were abnormally loud.
- Breach
- Fixed an issue where Breach would go into an incorrect idle animation pose in third-person after Aftershock was fired.
- Sova
- Fixed an issue where Sova would go into an incorrect idle animation pose in third-person after exiting the Owl Drone.
- KAY/O
- Fixed a rare issue where KAY/O could appear standing up when downed during NULL/CMD.
- Fixed an issue where ZERO//POINT's dagger trajectory could behave unexpectedly with packet loss.
- Gekko
- Fixed an issue where the "Spike Down" VO would not play when Wingman was destroyed while carrying the Spike.
- Iso
- Fixed an issue where swapping to Iso with Double Tap active could result in the wrong UI bar displaying for spectators or observers.
- Tejo
- Fixed a bug where Stealth Drone was not unstealthing upon jumping up prior to its scan.
And finally, we touch on the PC only bug fixes. These are simple and deal with the Premier mode:
- Fixed an issue where a player's status in the Premier Hub roster list would sometimes overlap with the alert icon in certain queues.
- Fixed an issue where the playoff bracket would not update dynamically during the second game of a best-of-three matchup.
