Twitch has added new mental health resources for those looking to seek help.

Twitch has been taking quite a few W's lately. The popular streaming platform just announced new mental health resources on its website to help those struggling and who do not know where or how to reach out to someone. This news also comes on World Mental Health Day, showing Twitch's persistence in helping make the streaming world a better and safer place.

New mental health resources introduced on Twitch

Sometimes streaming can be taxing. From worrying about numbers to dealing with trolls online, the world of a streamer is not always sane and secure. In fact, outside of stream-related instances, many creators deal with general anxiety, depression or other mental health disorders.

Twitch understands that and is working to provide a safe and secure place for those who need help. The company announced a brand new widget that provides streamers and viewers with confidential mental health resources.

The widget provides people with specific issues they want to talk about, including anxiety, depression and more, and then will direct them to the right person.

Better yet, you can filter the resources to find areas near you if you want to talk to someone in person. The widget also works in 11 different languages, helping quite a few demographics out there.

How to find the widget on Twitch

To find the new Twitch widget for mental health resources, go to the platform's Safety Center. This can be found by heading to Twitch and clicking on your profile icon in the top right-hand corner. Scroll down and you will see the Safety tab.

From here you will find a centralized hub that provides you with the resources you may need if you are struggling.

Remember, there is always a better day ahead, no matter how difficult the day on hand seems to be. Always remember to reach out, because people need you here.
