Surprise! RuneScape: Dragonwilds is here and it has an Early Access roadmap anyone can check out in its menus. The game was a unexpected launch, as many were waiting for a special stream in anticipation of features and a release date.
Instead, we have Early Access for anyone who wants to purchase it. And a roadmap for RuneScape Dragonwilds that showcases everything in development and what type of improvements the developers are looking to make.

A look at the in-game Early Access roadmap for RuneScape: Dragonwilds
Now, they don't give any time frames or dates on the roadmap. It simply just objectives they want to meet and features for the game they are currently looking to implement. That doesn't mean you shouldn't get excited, though, as they are more than likely going to trickle updates out over time.
After you create your first character, you are brought to the game's main menu. There is a roadmap option available, which is where you can see what RuneScape Dragonwilds' devs are up to. Here's what we see:
- New Region with a new Dragon Overlord - Fellhollow and the Soul-Eater, Imaru
- New magic, ranged, and farming skills
- New quests, lore, gear, and music to get back to RuneScape's roots
- New enemy type - Lesser Dragons
- New Dragon Slayer gear
- Masterwork weapons
- Expanded base / homesteading / building defences
- A hardcore mode and creative mode
- New critters and animals added to the game
- New vaults, crafting tiers, and raising of the skill caps
Those are all of the things currently in development. They've also shared parts of the game they are working hard to improve:
- Messaging and tutorialization
- Combat
- Performance
- Multiplayer and difficulty
- Lighting and weather
This has been a highly anticipated game for many players, so seeing the amount of content yet to come in the RuneScape: Dragon Wilds roadmap will definitely keep us all on the edge of seats as we wait.
