Everything coming in the Holiday Part 2 event in Pokémon GO.
The festivities continue in Pokémon GO with the Holiday Part 2 event. This is a follow on from the Part 1 event, that will finish just before this event kicks off. There is a new shiny debut for Cetoddle, a brand new costumed version of Wooloo and Dubwool as well as a buff to Adventure Incense.
So, here is everything coming in the Holiday Part 2 event in Pokémon GO this Christmas.
Pokémon GO Holiday Part 2
The Holiday Part 2 event runs from Sunday, December 22, at 10:00 a.m. to Friday, December 27, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time. That is immediately after the Holiday Part 1 event, that ends at 9:59 a.m. just prior.
Event Bonuses
The following bonuses will be in effect during the event.
- 2× XP from catching Pokémon.
- 50% more XP from Raid Battles.
Adventure Incense extended
During the event, there will be a buff to Adventure Incense that will extend a bit beyond the event dates. From Wednesday, December 25, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time, Daily Adventure Incense will last twice as long. That means Adventure Incense will last for 30 minutes, giving Trainers a better chance at finding a Galarian Bird, which could even be shiny! Don't forget, you can still extend that using Roar of Time.
Pokémon GO Holiday Part 2 Wild Spawns
The following Pokémon will spawn in the Wild during the Holiday Part 2 event in Pokémon GO:
- Alolan Rattata
- Murkrow
- Galarian Zigzagoon
- Blitzle
- Vanillite
- Tynamo
- Wooloo wearing holiday attire
- Absol
All of these Wild Spawns can be shiny in Pokémon GO, including the brand new Wooloo wearing holiday attire.

The following Pokémon will be in Raids during the Holiday Part 2 event. This includes Cetoddle, which can now be shiny in Pokémon GO for the first time ever. The odds of encountering Shiny Cetoddle in Raids will be increased.

Timed Research and new Avatar Items
The event will also bring a new $5 Timed Research that will award the following:
- One Glacial Lure Module
- Two Incense
- Wooloo Jacket
- Encounters with Wooloo wearing holiday attire
Additionally, the following new items will be avaliable to purchase in the in-game shop from the start of the event. One is themed after Staryu, and the other is themed after Marshtomp.
