Get ready for all four Pokémon GO Fest 2025 events.
Niantic have officially revealed the physical locations and confirmed the dates for the 2025 edition of Pokémon GO Fest.
We also now have our first information about the featured Pokémon during the event too. We are getting the return of Zacian and Zamazenta in their crowned forms, an encounter with a new mythical Pokémon and a range of wild spawns.
As always, Niantic often release more information and reveal more features nearer to the date of the event.
So, here is everything we know so far about Pokémon GO Fest 2025.
Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta to debut at Pokémon GO Fest 2025 events
The headline Pokémon at this years events will be Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta. These powerful Pokémon will be appearing in their more powerful forms across GO Fest 2025, appearing in Five-Star Raids.
These Pokémon are significant upgrades on their standard forms, which appeared in Pokémon GO back in the autumn. We don't yet know if they are getting any special moves, but in particular Crowned Sword Zacian stands out as a top contender for Master League PvP and as a Fairy-type Raid Attacker.
Volcanion also arrives at Pokémon GO Fest 2025
Each years GO Fest events always brings a mythical Pokémon debut. Last year was Marshadow. This year Trainers will have the chance to encounter Volcanion if they play one of the events.

Volcanion will be available via Special Research, granting trainers one encounter this Pokémon. You'll have to have a ticket for one of the events in order to get the Special Research.
If you're planning to attend more than one GO Fest event, or play online as well as attending one of the events, you will be limited to one Volcanion. Attending multiple events will not give you multiple Volcanion.
However, you will instead get Volcanion Candy from the Special Research instead. Given you can't encounter another Volcanion, that is still a pretty good reward.
