Overwatch 2 Season 14 trailer
In addition to the arrival of Hazard, Overwatch 2's next tank hero, Season 14 features a brand-new Battle Pass, six-versus-six (6v6) experimental modes, the mythic Thor Reinhardt skin, and even an Avatar: The Last Airbender crossover. There's also the return of Winter Wonderland and its game modes.
The trailer for the upcoming season highlights a bunch of this plus teases some new shop skins for heroes such as Sombra, Juno, Widowmaker, Reaper, Mercy, Pharah, D.Va, Lifeweaver, and Bastion!

Overwatch 2 Hazard abilities and ultimate
- Hazard: This is Overwatch 2's first-ever Scottish hero. He's a tank with the Jagged Wall, Spike Guard, and Violent Leap abilities. His passive is Vault, which lets him scale short walls and grab ledges. Meanwhile, his Bonespur weapon fires a burst of spikes at enemies. Finally, his ultimate is Downpour, which rains down a torrent of spikes to immobilize foes.

Overwatch 2 6v6 is back in Season 14
- 6v6 Role Queue: Next, we have an experimental game mode running from Dec. 17 to Jan. 6. This 6v6 Role Queue game mode lets players duke it out with two tanks, two damage heroes, plus two supports.
Mythic Thor Reinhardt skin
- Mythic Thor Reinhardt skin: It's about time that Overwatch 2 gets a tank mythic skin, and it's all about Reinhardt this season! Inspired by Norse mythology, Reinhardt's Thor mythic skin lets players customize it in terms of colorways, animations, and more. There's also a special Gilded Aspect in the Mythic Shop awaiting him.
Winter Wonderland returns to Overwatch 2
- Overwatch 2 Winter Wonderland 2024: This holiday event returns in Season 14 and runs between Dec. 10 and Jan. 6. This means players can duke it out in modes such as Mei’s Snowball Offensive and Freezethaw Elimination soon. This year, Hanzo fans can also earn the Winter Casual Hanzo skin among other rewards via the Winter Wonderland event
Overwatch 2 Season 14 Battle Pass
- Premium Battle Pass: Don't forget about the new Battle Pass. There's a free version that everyone gets, but there's also a paid version that lets players earn 80 tiers of rewards before unlocking the prestige tier with player titles. The rewards include the Hazard Mobster skin, Odin Sigma, Celestial Mei, Mobster Hazard, Cyber Scientist Moira, and Cozy Sojourn!
Overwatch 2 Avatar crossover
- Avatar crossover: Finally, the game is getting a crossover with Avatar: The Last Airbender! Both the official Overwatch 2 account on X and YouTube teased this.
