All details of the Brawl Stars Toy Story event have been announced in a special Brawl Talk. What characters do you look forward to playing?
Right after the Starr Toon season started in Brawl Stars, the game announced another awesome collaboration. Toy Story joins the cartoon-related franchises that add their characters to Brawl Stars. Unlike Adventure Time, South Park, and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, it's not only about skins this time.

Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story in Brawl Stars
First, the developers teased the community with a short video. A hint at Buzz Lightyear was pretty clear.
It turned out that this is not about adding the skin of Buzz Lightyear but making him a playable character — available for a limited time.
How to claim free Buzz Lightyear in Brawl Stars
To Brawl and Beyond — this is almost a quote from Buzz Lightyear’s slogan “To the Infinity and Beyond”.
To get this character, launch the game between Dec. 12 and Feb. 4. Toy Story Buzz Lightyear is available for free. Just claim him and enjoy the game.
Buzz is playable in all game modes except for Ranked. He has the max level and the full kit. There are three battle mode available.
- Laser mode: Buzz shoots a laser ray that deals damage over time. Super has a bigger reach.
- Saber mode: The Basic attack has a shorter range, damaging opponents around Buzz. Super allows the Toy Story brawler to fly, and he knocks the opponents back on landing.
- Wing mode: Buzz gets two projectiles, which deal higher damage if the target is close. When flying, Brawl Stars Buzz Lightyear throws bombs.
The Hypercharge of Buzz Lightyear improves his Super. Play him, reach new levels of mastery, and unlock rewards: Credits, Coins, Pins, etc.

How to unlock Toy Story skins in Brawl Stars
Three of the Brawl Stars Toy Story skins are available in the shop throughout December. Check the offers and buy them. SpongeBob skins are rarely in the shop after the event is over. The same should be with Woody and friends, so don't miss the chance.
Only Surge Lightyear can be unlocked for free during the Pizza Planet event. It starts on Jan. 2 and brings daily rewards, with Surge Lightyear as a Day 7 gift.
