Many League of Legends fans show their high expectations on Renata Glasc showing up in Arcane Season 2. But can that actually happen?

The appearance of Renata Glasc in Arcane Season 2 can actually happen in the next Act. But who's Renata Glasc and why are League of Legends fans so thrilled about a possible cameo? Let's dive into it.

Who's Renata Glasc in League of Legends lore?

We talk about "Miss Glasc" by her full name as it's common to treat famous billionaires by their full names such as Elon Musk or Bill Gates. Renata Glasc, or "The Chem-Baroness", is one of the most prominent business people in Zaun. But her life was never easy.

Her parents, two alchemists, were fully dedicated to Zaun's community, helping their patients even if they couldn't afford those aids. Renata grew up in an environment of "going to bed hungry" to understand how hard can real life be for poor people, but she wanted more, she wanted to be powerful and be part of the riches of the world.

When she entered her parent's business, she changed everything by turning their business into a profitable one, where her parents would be treating wealthier Zaunites.

Instead of taking the money to live comfortably, her parents wasted it trying to find a cure for the sickest patients, always without success. Their daughter was not happy with their decision.

How to build an empire

Renata Glasc was not going to commit the same mistakes of altruism that make their life miserable. She threw herself into building her inheritance into something bigger, more powerful: an empire.

She was the brain of small-time operations, built relationships all over Zaun, gave people jobs, and lent them money - but never for free. If they couldn't pay, as she knew they couldn't, she demanded loyalty.

Invested in destitute youth with a talent for innovation, offering work and stability for their families - probably like Viktor based on one line between them where Renata talks about Viktor not forgetting "whose money" made him what he is.

And just like that, the Glasc Industries grew up with many factories focused on high-end chemtech products. They were now an empire, controlling chemtech mining operations to refineries.

Just like that, Renata Glasc turned herself into a chem-baron. When the chemical accident happened in Zaun, her industries provided aid, basic breathers, and replacement filters for free. Now, everyone in Zaun has loyalty to Renata Glasc.

Word of her generosity swept through Piltover. The next goal is to take Pilltover's source of financial power to herself. It's only a matter of time before she controls everything, everywhere.

How does she relate to the Arcane characters?

Many fans started theorizing that Sevika and Renata were the same person since Renata also had a mechanical arm.

Well, this is not true since both women lost their arms on different occasions: Renata in an attempt to save her parents from a Pilltover's elite attack and Sevika while protecting Silco from Powders' hex crystal bomb (this also happens in Arcane Season one). Many think Renata can be a distant relative of Sevika.

It's highly likely that Renata Glasc and Silco might have encountered each other and talked about running Zaun since both of them had huge control over the undercity.

There's also a possibility that Renata Glasc and Heimerdinger, as both brilliant scientists, crossed paths when Heimer arrived in Zaun at the end of Arcane season one.

Others believe she might know Singed since he was also a scientist at Zaun's sump level. In her champion trailer, we see her fight other Zaunites, one of them being Vi.

There's also a specific mural that appeared in Arcane Act 1 that made fans speculate it was Renata Glasc being represented as well as the power of her industry in Zaun.

It could make sense in a way since the breathers, which we know allow Zaunites to breathe through the toxic gas, could be produced by Glasc Industries.

"Debra Wilson"

This beautiful name made many League of Legends fans jump off their chairs. If you don't know, Debra Wilson is the Renata Glasc voice actor. Don't turn your expectations too high. It's normal for voice actors to do multiple characters so it can be only a coincidence.

We still don't know if Renata Glasc will finally make an appearance in the last Act of Arcane, launching on Nov. 23, but we're excited to see how will Riot Games close this amazing show.
