Hearthstone announces Whizbang’s Workshop expansion: Release date, Miniaturize keyword, and more!

Hearthstone has announced a brand-new expansion! Here's everything to know about the Hearthstone Whizbang's Workshop expansion, release date, Miniaturize keyword, and upcoming cards. We also go into how you can get the Colifero the Artist legendary minion for free!

Launching on March 19, the new Hearthstone expansion boasts 145 new cards, the Miniaturize keyword, plus nostalgia galore with cards that are throwbacks to iconic characters. The Zilliax 3000 Deluxe card, for example, is reminiscent of the original Zilliax. It's also fully customizable and features the new Miniaturize keyword.

Cards with the Miniaturize keyword get a 1 mana 1/1 copy of it added to you hand. You can play this mini version of the card immediately for tempo or even save it for later. A card with this keyword is Chia Drake, which is a 4 mana 2/4 Dragon.

In terms of Hearthstone Whizbang's Workshop cards, Blizzard revealed a few of them already, including Incredible value, Wind-Up Musician, and Inventor Boom! These cards are reminiscent of their original forms in celebration of Hearthstone's 10-year anniversary.

The nostalgia continues with the arrival of Zilliax 3000 Deluxe. This card is fully customizable because while you're building your deck, you can select two Zilliax Modules and combine their costs, stats, and effects. According to Blizzard, you can even choose Zilliax 3000 Deluxe's cosmetic finish.

The anniversary party doesn't stop there as you can even get the free Colifero the Artist legendary card upon login! This is a 8 mana 6/5 Elemental with a Battlecry that lets it draw a minion and transform all other friendly minions into copies of it.
