The official trailer for the new Halo TV Series, which will be streaming on Paramount+, was released during the NFL playoffs.

The official trailer for the upcoming Halo TV series has been released. The show, based around the beloved FPS series, will be debuting on Paramount+ in early spring this year. Here is everything we know about the show thus far.

Trailer released during NFL playoff game

The trailer for the new series was released during the halftime interval for the NFL playoff game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Kansas City Chiefs. You can check out the full trailer down below.

In the trailer, fans of the Halo series were given a brief look at the new TV version of Master Chief, who will be played by Pablo Schreiber. We also got to see a few other major characters from the Halo franchise such as Dr. Halsey, played by Natasha McElhone, as well as Master Chief's spunky Ai assistant Cortana, who will once again be voiced by Jen Taylor.

We were also treated to a few little easter eggs from the trailer. Theses included Master Chief squaring off against a couple of Energy-Sword wielding Covenant warriors, a Warthog driving across a ragged terrain, as well as a number of other Spartans.

What is worth noting is that the series' story will be completely separate from the core canon of the games. As noted by the show's executive producer Kiki Wolfkill on the Halopedia Twitter page. The release of the new series comes shortly after the release of Halo Infinite, which had the franchise's largest launch ever.

Halo TV Series Release Date

The Halo TV series will be releasing on CBS' streaming service Paramount+ on March 24. This will mark Master Chief's first major outing on a TV screen. The last time he was featured in a theatrical format was in the 2012 webs series Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn; which mainly served as a means of promoting the release of Halo 4.
