PlayStation will launch its new console in November.
On Sept. 10, PlayStation and Sony confirmed the release of its next console, the PS5 Pro, which will happen at the end of 2024.
The PS5 Pro will be the first new PlayStation console ever since the release of the PS5 in November 2020 and the PS5 Slim in November 2023, respectively. While this doesn't sound as promising as the release of a PS6, the new console will be better than the current PS5, PlayStation said.

The main takeaway of the PS5 Pro is that graphics rendering will be 45% faster, according to PlayStation lead architect Mark Cerny. PlayStation also mentioned that it developed the PS5 Pro to run "higher fidelity graphics" with smoother frame rates at 60FPS, as per the community's feedback.
