Elden Ring streamer found a way to troll Gaius, an annoying boss

In Elden Ring, you get them by rolling, but there are other ways to do it, like getting off Torrent while standing still. Normally, rolling burns your stamina in exchange for i-frames; but the horse trick doesn't. Contrary to what you may be thinking, this is not something you can spam.

Trying to summon Torrent during the Gaius fight in Elden Ring is something you should only do when he is far away. The boss will hit you otherwise, before even riding your horse.

In a Reddit conversation about how i-frames work in Elden Ring, the user "Dag-nabbitt" explains how they work compared to other souls games. He adds that jumping grants them only for your lower body. And, for 19% to 25% increase on i-frames, you'll need the wind crystal tear.
