The WOTE GOATs

19 different players have won at least one WOTE event. Of those 19, only five have won multiple events and only two have won three WOTE events. Who are those two? Sommerset and Vanessuh. Their two most recent wins have come as a duo together with the most recent coming in March 2023. With a year since their last title, this duo will be looking to prove once again that they are the best and extend their record to four WOTE victories.

The reigning champs

When considering favorites to win this WOTE, it’s impossible to ignore the reigning champions, Moxie and Regs. Moxie is a veteran of WOTE and has knocked on the door of a title multiple times with a 3rd place in December 2020; 3rd place in April 2022; and 2nd place March 2023. Regs was Moxie’s duo in that 2nd place finish and they finally achieved the coveted WOTE victory during the OG Fortnite season in November 2023. Now, this duo will not easily give their title up.

The up-and-comers

Sommerset, Vanessuh, Moxie, and Regs all have several WOTE Main Events under their belts. However, there’s also fresh blood in the scene. Albaxna and Envy stole the spotlight in August 2023 by winning the qualifier and then continuing on to also win the Main Event. They also placed 3rd together in WOTE OG in November 2023. This duo has taken WOTE by storm and will be looking to continue their hot run in this WOTE!

The WOTE veterans

Will another past champion follow in Sommerset and Vanessuh’s footsteps and join the exclusive club of players with three titles? MaddyNF and Sparkles_qt have 2 WOTE Main Event wins each which includes the August 2022 WOTE where they were trio teammates. Other players will also be looking for their second WOTE title. Kelszy, Yazmin, and Melanie round out the previous champions that are competing.

Can another player who has been on the verge of victory finally reach their goal this time just as Moxie and Regs did in WOTE OG? EyaPixie has placed 3rd twice and could be primed to win this time with her new duo, KiaXia. Will another duo jump into the spotlight in 2024 the way Albaxna and Envy did in 2023?

LolaBlood placed top 10 in her first 2 WOTE events and will be looking to add a title to her achievements with her new teammate, Rachida, who is a WOTE veteran. The next WOTE Main Event champion may come from the qualifiers just as Albaxna and Envy did in August 2023. V1ctroria and Lucka placed first in Qualifier 2 this month including a 22-elimination victory royale.

Several teams will have high hopes of taking home the first place prize and the race to the top will be exciting to watch. The event will be broadcasted on erena's Twitch!
