Game 1 - What can the Zeus and Void do against Team Spirit lineup?

Xtreme Gaming pulled off a Zeus last pick against the Morphline and Mars combination. The hero has not had a great tournament so far, going 2-7 so far.

For Team Spirit, they also had the Shadow Demon - a hero that is exceptional against the Faceless Void chronosphere. However, as is the case with most Dota 2 matches, positioning becomes crucial and Zeus might just give them vision in the map during teamfights.

The early game saw all three cores on Xtreme Gaming farm extremely well. They did leave Yatoro's Morphling alone and he had the farm that was eclipsing everyone else on the map. However, playing with a Morphling also means that the time to come online is much later than normal.

There were many unfortunate moments for Yatoro as he was once caught off-guard and ended up dying while farming in the Neutrals. A random Zeus ult, potentially to check the enemy positions, ended up getting the kill on Morphling, probably the most valuable hero on the map.

Xtreme Gaming continued to build on their advantage taking teamfights from a position of strength and dominating their opponents.

Despite Morphline having a lot of farm, when Xtreme Gaming were targeting him, he had to morph into strength extremely quickly. While he would survive the ganks, it also meant he was unable to deal any damage to the Xtreme Gaming opponents.

Ultimately, with the double Chronosphere and with a Moonshard Zeus, Xtreme Game were able to ease through the late game. A big reason for their victory was the early game dominance and the tools they had at their disposal.

The game had a 6k Gold lead at 15 minutes, which points to the dominance for Xtreme Gaming early in the game.

What to expect from Xtreme Gaming vs Team Spirit?

Xtreme Gaming had a great performance in the group stage going 2-5-0. They topped the group due to their head-to-head matchups which saw them win against Team Spirit (2-0), Tundra. They tied their remaining series cementing their place on top of the scoreboard.

Team Spirit lost to Xtreme Gaming, but they had 2-0 victories over Team Liquid and 1Win. However, the 0-2 series loss to Xtremel GAming is particularly important. In both the games, Xtreme Gaming had a very dominant early game which snowballed into the mid and late game. With picks such as Alchemist, Outworld Destroyer, and Naga Siren, Xtreme Gaming had a set plan in place which they executed to brilliance.
