The Stay Frosty god roll in Destiny 2 will surprise you!
Lightweight pulse rifles are popular in Destiny 2, especially among PvP players, and Stay Frosty comes with quite the Crucible god roll!
For PvE players, however, there are a few awesome perks that make Stay Frosty a great all-rounder. Here's our god roll for Destiny 2 including ideal perks, origin traits, mods, and more.
What is the Stay Frosty god roll in Destiny 2?

There are a few damage or handling perks that look great on Stay Frosty. That said, we're leaning into the Stasis builds with our god roll thanks to Rimestealer and Headstone.
Headshot kills will create a Stasis crystal thanks to Headstone. Destroying that crystal will grant Frost Armor and deal area-of-effect damage to nearby targets, which you can then finish with headshots for more crystals.
Combined with certain Stasis subclass fragments, Stay Frosty is the perfect weapon for both standard play and endgame content. Make sure you bring your Stasis setup with you to take advantage of the perks!

There are plenty of great options here for Stay Frosty in the Crucible. I'm liking the look of Moving Target and Desperado, personally — extra accuracy while on the move plus that fire rate boost post-kill makes for an awesome run-and-gun pulse rifle.
Alternatively, Lone Wolf has become a popular pick since it's inclusion in Episode: Revenant. With Lone Wolf, Stay Frosty gets an ADS and aim assist boost which is amplified when away from your teammates. Headseeker grants additional headshot damage and aim assist on body shot hit, so even a slight miss is still beneficial — as long as you hit the body!
How to get Stay Frosty in Destiny 2
Stay Frosty is part of the Destiny 2 Dawning event loot pool. That means you'll only be able to get your hands on Stay Frosty during the holiday period, which wraps up early January.
Once you've completed Stay Frosty's event challenge, you'll be able to spend your Gifts in Return and Dawning Spirit on random rolled copies of the pulse rifle with different perks so you can try for one of the god rolls we've mentioned above.
This weapon cannot be crafted. Once you've got the perks you want, you can level up the weapon and unlock enhanced perks.
