Delta Force has been a hit since it entered its “open beta,” and we now know the details of the game’s second season.
Ever since its launch in December, in what is deemed as the “open beta,” Delta Force has been bringing the hype back into the first-person shooter genre. With Battlefield, and its ilk, failing to scratch the itch of players, the game's experience has been second to none.
Not only is the game free-to-play but it comes with multiple modes to appeal to every enjoyer of the genre. Now, a little over a month in, we will be heading into Starfall as it is set to land on January 18.
Delta Force is ahead of the game
With its open beta bringing in hundreds of thousands of players, Delta Force’s first season has been a breath of fresh air for the first-person shooter genre. With an extraction shooter mode akin to Escape From Tarkov and a separate warfare mode more similar to Battlefield, the free game has checked all the right boxes on paper. Within the game, destruction was a major inclusion, along with the ability to edit tons of options on your weapons.
Delta Force’s open beta period was counted as the game’s first season, and now that they have a firm hold on the genre, they are pushing ahead into the second season. Details of this came in a long-winded developer update, showcasing everything coming up in Starfall and beyond.
