Big Hold onto Life in close series

However, with the next map going to DBL Poney’s pick of Nuke, the series sets up a game 3. As such, DBL Poney were able to bounce back on the second map where they dominated on nuke, to bring it to a game 3. DBL Poney made a tiny resurgence in the second half of Dust2 to bring it to 15-12. However, the German CS:GO team were able to close out the series, moving forward in Flashpoint 3.

DBL Poney out but not down in Flashpoint 3?

While out of contention to win, DBL Poney’s tournament run is not yet over though. While the French squad is now eliminated from winning Flashpoint 3, they still have one more match. They will battle in a rematch against Vitality to see who gets 7th place, alongside 1000 RMR points. Fortunately, the loser will finish 8th and receive 900 RMR points. Still, this can be viewed as a successful run from the French CS:GO team nonetheless.

As for Big, they will move on to face NIP in the loser’s bracket while a Danish duel between Astralis and Heroic will occur in the other matchup. CS:GO viewers can tune in to watch both NIP vs Big and Astralis and Heroic tomorrow May 26. Here, the two winners will move forward into the loser’s bracket round 5.
