SAW in BLAST Premier Spring Final

The Portuguese team beat Team Liquid, Cloud9, and on the final day OG, to secure a spot in the BLAST Premier Spring Final. SAW's first series at Showdown was against Liquid. In that game, the Portuguese were better with a 2-0 victory.

The highlight of the match was the team's youngest addition, Rafael "arrozdoce" Wing. SAW maintained an advantage over Team Liquid's bad form.

In the match against Cloud9, the name of the moment was once again highlighted, arrozdoce. On the Russian side, some stars were not at their expected level. The series dictated a 2-0 victory for SAW, with just one game remaining to secure a spot in the BLAST Premier Spring Final.

Hours before the match started against OG, the European team reported the absence of Nikita "HeavyGod" Martynenko. The team's main highlight was out due to health reasons, the organization said. Alexandru "s0und" Ștefan from Nexus was called up as a stand-in for the decisive match.

The Portuguese, despite the struggle on the second map, closed the series with victories in Ancient and Overpass.

SAW guarantees themselves a place in the BLAST Premier Spring Final. The team joins others like FaZe, Vitality, and G2. The competition will take place in London in June.

SAW in a great phase

After SAW's near elimination at RMR, reaching 0-2, the team turned things around, securing a spot at PGL Major CS2 Copenhagen. Since then, the team has not lost a series, with complicated clashes along the way.

SAW now reaches the BLAST Premier Spring Final in great form and raising the flag for Portuguese Counter-Strike.
