The star AWPer isn’t picky about his next adversaries in the playoffs.

Eternal Fire have successfully avoided elimination from BetBoom Dacha CS2 2024 playoffs on Aug. 28 as they defeated HEROIC 2-0 (13-7 on Mirage.

Now, Eternal Fire's next match at BetBoom Dacha will be against the loser of FURIA versus Team Spirit. While Spirit have been clearly better than FURIA throughout the season, Eternal Fire's star AWPer Özgür "woxic" Eker doesn't care who comes up next.

"No, [I don't have a preference]. We need to play and win against anybody we face here," woxic told esports.gg in the post-match interview. "If we get Spirit or FURIA, it doesn't matter. We need to play our game and beat them."

woxic isn't picky at this point in the tournament

With the elimination of HEROIC to Eternal Fire, now there are only six teams left in the BetBoom Dacha playoffs. Falcons were sent home by Virtus.pro earlier today.

Here's the rest of woxic's post-match interview with esports.gg

Post-match interview with Eternal Fire woxic

Esports.gg: You had a good match against HEROIC today. Did you expect Mirage, the first map, to be so one-sided? You won the first half by 11-1 on CT-side.

woxic: "In that case, if we play some really good Counter-Strike on the CT-side, I thought it was going to be like that. But we're always making some small mistakes on the CT-side of Mirage, so I wasn't really thinking that we'd get a one-sided win."

Esports.gg: How are you and the rest of the Eternal Fire players feeling in terms of energy? You played a bunch of matches between BetBoom Dacha and the online qualifier for IEM Rio.

woxic: "In the first two days, our energy was really high, and then we played three maps in two different tournaments on one day, and our energy was really low in the end. But, we were in a pretty good mood and energy for today. If we can keep that energy tomorrow, we can beat anybody."
