Despite FalleN’s best efforts, FURIA are out of the tournament and Eternal Fire live to fight another day.

Eternal Fire have come out on top of another elimination match in BetBoom Dacha as they sent FURIA packing on Aug. 30 in the first lower bracket semifinals of the day. Eternal Fire won Vertigo by 13-6, lost Nuke by 13-5, and took Mirage by 13-9 to win the series.

The all-Turkish side had to work hard to get their win as FURIA's captain Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo was simply having one of the best performances of his career. The 33-year-old finished Nuke with a 2.52 rating, 144.8 ADR, and 29-9 K/D, according to HLTV.

One of Eternal Fire's stars Ali "Wicadia" Haydar Yalçın admitted to esports.gg in the post-match interview that it was hard to face FalleN on Nuke.

"It was impossible to peek him on Nuke. He was insane" Wicadia said. "It was a bit hard for us, and he just dominated us on Nuke."
