New arrivals Envoy and Octane could be what LA Thieves need to mount a serious title challenge for the Vanguard season.

The good just keeps on giving in the world of Call of Duty Esports, as LA Thieves have officially announced their new roster. The announcement, which features new arrivals Envoy and Octane, was made on the LA Thieves twitter page earlier today. Here is a brief look at what Thieves fans can expect from their new team.

LA Thieves Expected To Perform With New Roster

The LA Thieves were, to say the least, all over the place last season. They went through a great many roster changes through the season before they eventually settled on their lineup. Even then they had very limited success.

LA Thieves fans were already excited when it was announced that Octane would be returning to the org, after having spent the past two seasons with Seattle Surge; his inclusion in the roster was announced earlier on the LA Thieves twitter page on September 9. Despite his struggles over the last two years team wise, Octane brings a combination of slaying prowess and leadership; both of which the LA Thieves are sure to benefit from this season.

Filling out the roster is the arrival of the talented young slayer Envoy from OpTic Chicago. Envoy was one of the standout players in the league last season with OpTic and quickly grew to be a fan favourite amongst the Greenwall faithful; both for his immense slaying abilities and his aggressive playstyle.

With both of these talented players lining up alongside returning players Drazah and Kenny and we have a very strong team. And given the caliber of rosters that have already been announced, i.e Minnesota Rokkr and LA Guerrillas, Thieves are certainly going to have their work cut out for them this season.
