Eight teams. Two days. One winner.

College CoD's 2023 LAN Championship event is upon us. Eight of the best collegiate Call of Duty teams from North America will compete on LAN for the chance to be crowned this year's champions.

This year's competition will feature the largest prize pool in College CoD history and will take place over two days on June 10 & 11.

Teams will take to Belong Gaming Arena in Columbus, OH to fight it out for the win. Some limited spectator passes are still available for the event, priced at just $25.

Teams

Eight teams have qualified for the College CoD LAN Championship event. Four of them qualified through their respective regional playoffs. The other four qualified through the LAN qualifier event that finished the regular season for College CoD 2023.

Here are the eight teams that have made it through to play for the title of CCL Champs 2023, starting with the four teams that won their regional playoffs.

Format

This is more than just a one-and-done tournament at College CoD LAN. All eight teams will get their chance to show their talents in at least three matches in Columbus.

The tournament will be in two sections. It will start with two groups of four, with each team playing the others in their groups once.

The top two teams will advance to the upper side of a six-team bracket. The two third-placed teams will start the bracket in the lower side.

Play will continue until just one team remains and they will be the champions of the 2023 College CoD LAN. Important note: Grand Finals of the event will be played in a bracket reset format. The team coming from the lower bracket will need to win two best of five series' against the team from the winners side.

Prizing

The biggest prize pool in College CoD history is on offer during the 2023 LAN event. $40,000 is up for grabs, split between the top finishers at the event.

All eight teams that made it to LAN will, at the very least, take home some prizing. Here's the full breakdown of what placing earns you at CCL LAN this year:

  • 1st - $16,000
  • 2nd - $8,000
  • 3rd - $6,000
  • 4th - $4,000
  • 5th - $2,000
  • 6th - $2,000
  • 7th - $1,000
  • 8th - $1,000

Stream

College CoD LAN Finals 2023 will be live on the official College CoD Twitch channel. Action starts from 12 p.m. EDT on Saturday, June 10 and Sunday, June 11. The stream will run all day each day and will feature action from every round of matches at the event.
