The Yaoguai Chief Guangzhi is one of the first bosses you will meet in the game. Here’s how you can defeat him and what to expect next.
How to Defeat Black Myth Wukong Yaoguai Chief Guangzhi?
The Boss uses a series of steps to fight and mostly repeats these steps. As a player, you should try to understand these steps. The key to defeating Gaungzhi lies in attacking him when his guard is down or when he is not the one attacking you.
- The Vertical 360 Slash - Guangzhi does three Vertical 360-degree slashes. Each slash deals immense damage and you should avoid it at all costs.
- The Spear Throw - Guangzhi throws his spear which will reach the other end of the arena and then come back. While it is easy to dodge the first throw, players often find themselves in the middle of the return path.
- Charge: Guangzhi can charge at you at lightning speed and leaves a flaming path behind. He does however, pause for a few seconds before the charge, which should give you ample time to get ready.
- Jump Charge. After spinning while backing off, Guangzhi jumps and instantly charges.
Guangzhi usually twirls his blade on the left side once he finishes his moves. Once you spot this, you should start attacking. Move closer to him and attack, but keep an eye out for when the sound cue signals he is ready to attack again. As soon as you realize he might attack, start dodging once more to avoid any and all damage.

- The Immobilize spell is one of the most powerful spells for you as a player. You can use it in tough situations to freeze him in place and avoid any damage. It gives you time to replenish yourself and also deal damage while he is immobilized.
