Apex Inner Beast Collection Event brings Octane heirloom recolour

The latest Apex Legends collection event will add an Octane Heirloom recolour to the game. Titled Inner Beast, this collection event will bring 24 new cosmetics and a new LTM gamemode as we are used too.

The Inner Beast Collection event will be available in Apex Legends between March 5 and March 16.

Like any other heirloom there will be two ways to acquire the Octane Heirloom Recolour in Apex Legends.

Firstly, you can either complete the Apex Inner Beast collection event. This will set you back about 16,800 coins or almost 40,000 crafting metals. Of course, you will be getting 24 cosmetics to add to your collection as well as the Octane Heirloom recolour.

Otherwise, you can unlock the heirloom (only after the event has ended) in the usual way with Heirloom Shards. You might have some extra lying about, if you completed the Anniversary Collection event that ended last week.

If you do choose to unlock the entire event, what will you be getting?

All of the Inner Beast Collection event skins are animal themed, with a striking orange and purple theme. We have to wait till tomorrow to see all the skins, but here are the ones we've seen so far:

Thankfully, if you don't want to part with your Apex coins or hard-earned crafting metals there is still plenty to do in the Apex Inner Beast Collection Event. The event introduces a new Reward Tracker and a fresh new takeover into the game.

The Hunt will provide a new twist on Apex Legends Battle Royale mode during the two week event. The mode will centre around data pads that give you a target squad to eliminate. Using the tracking data you'll be able to hunt that team down and (try to) send them back to the lobby.

Your prey will be warned when you are close by, and don't forget. Just because you're hunting a team, doesn't mean you're not being hunted yourself...

There will be some free skins available for you to unlock during the event. The star of the show is a new skin for Vantage, with charms, a Boeck skin and other cosmetics also available.

You need 5,000 event points to unlock everything in the tracker. You'll be able to earn up to 1,400 in a single day, so you'll need to play a few times during the event at least to make the most of the free rewards avaliable.

Helpfully, all the challenges will stack with your Battle Pass, so you'll be able to complete multiple challenges at once.
