Lodestones are one of the most important structures in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, as they allow you fast travel between them.

One of the best features ever invented is the fast travel. Yes, it is fun to explore vast open worlds in games, but sometimes, you just want to get the mission done. In RuneScape: Dragonwilds, there is a way to fast travel from Point A to Point B, but it takes some work.

You'll need to craft a Lodestone or two and we've got you covered on how to do so.

How to craft a Lodestone in RuneScape: Dragonwilds

The first step to fast travel in RuneScape: Dragonwilds is crafting a Lodestone. This doesn't become available until your in the first dungeon. Thankfully, the game basically leads you there if you follow the tutorial and its objectives.

Head to the blue-flame door in the Whispering Swamp and about halfway through the location, you'll come across a Vault Core on a thin pedestal. Pick it up and you'll unlock the ability to craft a Lodestone.

With that now available, you must use the Vault Core, 20 Rune Essence, and 32 Stone to craft the Lodestone. Place it anywhere you'd like and that is how you start the fast travel process in this survival game.

Now comes the catch. You can't fast travel in RuneScape: Dragonwilds with just one Lodestone. That means you will have to go through multiple dungeons to gather all of the materials, including more than one Vault Core.

Fast travel is available from one Lodestone to another, meaning you have to place them throughout the world to decide your fast travel locations. We recommend you place one at your base, then carry enough materials to place one down at new dungeons or harder battles. Then just interact with it, select your point, and off you go.
