If you want to give your cards an extra bit of pizazz, you can use the obtain flair feature in Pokémon TCG Pocket.

There's a lot you can do with your cards in Pokémon TCG Pocket, such as the ability to obtain some flair. What exactly is flair? Well, it is a way for you to make your cards standout and get an extra effect added to it when you view it.

Completing this action is also required for some of the daily challenges you'll encounter in the game. So, let's go over how you can sacrifice a few cards for that extra bit of flair in Pokémon TCG Pocket.

How to obtain flair for your cards in Pokémon TCG Pocket

It isn't hard to do, but you aren't explicitly told how to obtain flair in Pokémon TCG Pocket. That's where we'll come in to save the day. Here is how to obtain flair:

  1. Load into Pokémon TCG Pocket
  2. Tap the second icon on the bottom to go to your card collection
  3. Select the card you'd like to obtain flair for
  4. Tap the Obtain Flair button
  5. Choose which flair you'd like if multiple options are present
  6. Tap the Exchange button to obtain the flair for your chosen Pokémon TCG Pocket card

After you follow those steps, an animation will play that shows your card getting a bit of flair. Of course, it's not all that simple. You'll need to have an abundance of the card you are trying to trick out in the game.

The game itself will warn you that you'll need to have two or more of that card left over once the Obtain Flair function has completed. That means if you need three cards to Obtain Flair, you'll have to have a total of five before you begin.

As well, you'll need Shinedust to complete the action. Opening packs and completing missions are a good way to gain a ton of Shinedust. Don't worry, you won't run out for a long time. So, once you Obtain Flair on a Pokémon TCG Pocket Card, it will have an added effect and may unlock other flair options.
