Chances are if you have been playing Pokémon TCG Pocket, then you have been searching for the best deck-build metas. While some decks are definitely better than others, there are a few that trump all the competition.

Here are the best Pokémon TCG Pocket deck metas.

Pokémon TCG Pocket meta

The meta in Pokémon TCG Pocket revolves around a few different types of decks. While strategy still works with all decks, there are a few that are just simply more powerful than others.

However, you can still win with a deck that may not be included on this list if you have good draws and understand the cards you are playing with.

Mewtwo EX

The Mewtwo EX deck is considered one of the top decks within the game. This deck not only utilizes two Mewtwo EX cards but it also has two Gardevoir evolution lines, which help stack your Mewtwo with Psychic Energies every turn.

When both of these cards are on the battlefield, Mewtwo EX becomes almost unstoppable, making it one of the best metas in Pokémon TCG Pocket.

Pikachu EX

Well-known as one of the best deck builds in Pokémon TCG Pocket, the Pikachu EX deck is essential for anyone looking to thrive in the game. This deck has already won tournaments and more, being one of the most notoriously strong deck metas in the game.

The deck revolves around getting Pikachu EX out in your Active spot while filling up your Bench. Its main move then does 30 damage for each Pokémon on your Bench while only costing two Electric Energies.

Once you get Pikachu EX out on the field, it is almost always over for your opponent.

Starmie EX

Like the Pikachu EX deck, the Starmie EX deck also revolves around getting Starmie EX out fast. Its main move only takes two Water Energies, which can be easily attached using a Misty Supporter card.

Once it's ready to attack, Starmie EX does 90 damage to opponents. Doesn't sound like much? Well, Starmie EX is incredibly simple to get out in your Active spot with full Energy. Not only that but the Pokémon has a zero Retreat cost, making it easy to switch in and out from your Active spot to the Bench.

Dragonite

The last Pokémon TCG Pocket deck meta on our list is the Dragonite deck. Not only is Dragonite fierce and high on HP, but it is not an EX card, meaning when your opponent takes it down they only gain one point.

Dragonite's Draco Meteor move does 200 damage randomly to your opponent's Pokémon, and if they only have one Pokémon out on the field, it does the entire 200 damage to them. This deck is a heavy hitter and essential to any player.
