Pokémon cards in Dragonite deck

The Dragonite deck revolves around two specific Energies: Water and Electric. While we could have included Electric-type Pokémon in this build, we decided to stick with just Dragon and Water.

To begin, we have two of each card in the Dragonite evolution line: Dratini, Dragonair, and Dragonite. All three of these Pokémon require at least one Water and one Electric-type Energy for any of their moves to work.

Dragonite's move, Draco Meteor, however, does up to 200 damage to random Pokémon in your opponent's Active and Bench spots. The damage is dealt completely randomly, but could potentially take out all of your opponent's Pokémon at once.

We could not only include these Pokémon, however, and also made sure to include two Articuno EX cards. With only three Water Energies required to use Articuno's Blizzard, this Pokémon works great with a Misty Supporter card.

All Trainer cards in Dragonite deck

This specific deck includes 12 Trainer cards with two of each card. First off, we included two Misty cards, an essential Supporter card for any deck with Water Pokémon. While Misty only works with Articuno EX, it allows you to focus your other Energies on Dragonite.

Sabrina is also another must-have, as she allows players to force their Opponent's Active Pokémon to switch with one of their Benched Pokémon.

And like most other decks, we made sure to include Professor's Research, Poké Ball, X Speed, and Potion.

Weak against

Luckily, Dragon-type Pokémon have no weakness right now in Pokémon TCG Pocket. However, Articuno EX will be weak against Electric-types.

Strong against

While no Pokémon has a Dragon weakness at the moment, Dragonite is still a heavy hitter against everyone, and Articuno EX does some serious damage to Fire-type Pokémon.
