This Celebi EX deck might be the most overpowered deck in Pokémon TCG Pocket.

The new Mythical Island pack in Pokémon TCG Pocket has given players a whole new set of rare and strong cards, one of them being Celebi EX. Since the card was released within the game, many have been putting together decks centered around the Legendary Pokémon.

Here is our take on the best deck build for Celebi EX in Pokémon TCG Pocket.

The best Celebi EX deck in Pokémon TCG Pocket

Celebi EX is an incredibly powerful Pokémon, and its main move, Powerful Bloom, can be quite the heavy hitter if used correctly. To use Celebi to its full power, though, you need a few special cards in your deck.

Below is a list of all the cards needed in our Celebi EX deck build:

  • Celebi EX x2
  • Snivy x2
  • Servine x2
  • Serperior x2
  • Erika x2
  • Professor's Research x2
  • Sabrina x2
  • Poké Ball x2
  • Potion x2
  • X Speed x2

All Pokémon cards in deck

Obviously, to have a Pokémon deck in Pokémon TCG Pocket, you must have actual Pokémon in it. In our Celebi EX deck build, we chose to have eight specific Pokémon cards.

To begin, we obviously included two Celebi EX cards. Celebi's main move, Powerful Bloom, lets players flip as many coins as they have Grass Energy attached to it. Every heads is 50 damage.

What makes Celebi EX so powerful is its trusted companion, Serperior, which is the third evolution in the Snivy evolution line. Serperior's ability makes every Grass Energy worth two Energies instead of one. This means that if you have three Energies attached to your Celebi EX card, then it can do six coin flips.

This leaves you with the opportunity for endless power when using the Powerful Bloom attack.

All Trainer cards in deck

This deck does not fully work without specific Trainer cards, so we included 12 of them. To begin, we included the popular Supporter cards, Erika, Professor's Research, and Sabrina.

Since this deck revolves around Grass-type Pokémon, Erika's ability comes in clutch, healing 50 damage to any grass-type Pokémon. Professor's Research and Sabrina are great backup Supporter cards to help you win every battle.

We then included the typical Poké Ball, Potion and X Speed in this deck to help give it the support it needs.

Weak against

This deck struggles against fire-type decks, so going against Pokémon like Arcanine EX, Charizard EX and more will be difficult. However, if you use this deck correctly, you can still take on any opponent no matter what.

Strong against

Going up against rock-type Pokémon will seem like a breeze when playing with this Celebi EX deck in Pokémon TCG Pocket. With rock being weak against grass, Celebi EX is great against Pokémon like Onix and more.
