All Pokémon cards in Alakazam deck

We first need to break down the Pokémon included in this deck. Obviously, we included the entire Alakazam evolution line (two of each). Alakazam's famous move, Psychic, requires three Energies and does 60 damage.

Doesn't seem like much at first, but there is a catch. For every Energy equipped to your opponent, the attack does 30 more damage. This literally allows for endless damage if the opponent keeps equipping Energies.

Next, we included two Jynx cards. Jynx's one move only requires two Energies and has a similar effect as Alakazam's. When attacking, her move does extra damage for every Energy equipped to your opponent.

These are the only Pokémon you need in your Alakazam deck for it to shine.

All Trainer cards in Alakazam deck

Next, we need to discuss the Trainer cards. To start off, this Alakazam deck build has all the basic Trainer cards (two of each). Poké Ball, Potion and X Speed. However, it does have multiple Supporter cards too.

To begin, we included two Giovannis. This card is essential for getting that extra bit of damage in. Then, we added two Professor's Research cards. This Supporter card helps immensely when trying to get all of the Alakazam evolution line in your hand.

Lastly, we included two Sabrina Supporter cards. Sabrina is essential for every deck, as it allows you to switch your opponent's Active Pokémon with one of their Benched Pokémon.

Weak against

This deck is weak against Dark Pokémon. Decks that revolve around cards like Wheezing and Muk can do some serious damage to this Alakazam deck.

Luckily, it would seem as if Dark decks are the least common in Pokémon TCG Pocket.

Strong against

This deck is strong against Fighting Pokémon. Decks centered around Machamp and Marowak will have a hard time playing against Alakazam and other Psychic cards in Pokémon TCG Pocket.
