How to change your name in MLBB

There can be multiple reasons why you would want to change your name in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB). Your name is how everyone in the game recognizes you. However, sometimes, we just want a brand-new identity in the game.

Maybe you want something cooler, more unique, or just different from the one you hastily chose when you first started playing. Fortunately, MLBB does allow you to change your name. However, you must use some Diamonds to do so.

In this guide, we’ll go over how to change your name in MLBB and how much it costs.

To change your name in MLBB, you need to have a Rename Card. The easiest way to get it is through the First Recharge event in the game, where it costs 50 Diamonds. However, you can only purchase one per competitive season.

Alternatively, the first time you change your name will be free. This means you won’t have to pay anything if you want to change your in-game name.

Once you have the Rename Card, follow this step-by-step guide on how to change your name in MLBB:

Keep in mind that you can’t register a name that is already being used by other players in the game. This means you will have to come up with something unique if you want to change your name in MLBB. Alternatively, just put numbers in the end until it accepts your new name. 

There are two ways to get a Rename Card in the game.

You can head to the "Special" section of the in-game shop and tap on the "Items" tab to see various unique items in the game, including the Rename Card. The card is priced at 99 Diamonds for your first-time purchase. After that, it will cost you 299 Diamonds a piece unless there is a discount event.

The cheapest way to get a Rename card in MLBB is through the First Recharge event. You can find this by tapping on the Diamonds icon in the main menu. You only need to top up at least 50 Diamonds to get this item.
