The new Tier 3 boots in League of Legends is not the same enchantments in 2016 – they’re even better.

League of Legends Season One is coming in hot! The Summoner's Rift is heading to Noxus, and with it comes new, Noxus-themed Tier 3 boots. Check out the new boots for LoL S1 here.

Tier 3 boots are back in LoL Season 1

LoL Season 1 is bringing in a lot of changes to Summoner's Rift. Atakhan, the new Epic Monster, Nexus Turrets respawning, and completely new mechanics are set to take over the map, but the gameplay changes don't stop there. Tier 3 boots is making its return since 2016 (kind of).

These Tier 3 boots are completely new items, instead of the old enchantments that seasoned players are familiar with. These are enhanced and upgraded version of their tier 2 counterparts.

The big clincher is that only one team have the ability to buy these boots per game as it requires winning Feats of Strength.

The stats and information below were taken from the LoL Public Beta Environment (PBE) server and may not exactly represent the items when they go live.

Swiftmarch (Boots of Swiftness)

The upgrade grants +15 Move Speed and the Noxian Fervor effect.

Gunmetal Greaves (Berserker's Greaves)

The upgrade gives +15% Attack Speed, +5 Move Speed, and the Noxian Gait effect. Zephyr is no longer purchasable.

Forever Forward (Synchronized Souls)

Gives +10 Move Speed and upgrades the Synchrony passive to also grant an additional 10% total Move Speed out of combat.

Chainlaced Crushers (Mercury's Treads)

The upgrade grants 10 Magic Resist, 5 Move Speed, and the Noxian Persistence effect.

Spellslinger's Shoes (Sorcerer's Shoes)

Armored Advance (Plated Steelcaps)

Again, these may not exactly represent the items when they do go live. The new Tier 3 boots are set to go live on League of Legends patch 25.S1.1 on January 8, 2024.
