Building a successful career in inZOI: How to get hired and progress?

One thing that is typical in life simulation games is the fact that characters can get hired, build successful careers, have more money, and even change jobs at any time, and inZOI it's not different. But how can you do it in the game? Let's dive into it.

All careers in inZOI, except for Idol Trainee, are eligible to Young Adult, Adult, and Middle-Aged Zois. Young Adults can only apply for Idol Trainee and will become unemployed once they age up to Adults. When your character reaches the Senior Age, it will retire.

In inZOI, career opportunities vary depending on the city you choose, with many jobs exclusive to each location. During Early Access, you can explore two distinct cities: Dowon, inspired by a vibrant Korean metropolis, and Bliss Bay, drawing inspiration from the iconic city of Los Angeles.

To choose a career in inZOI, the method is actually very simple: go to your phone, click on "Career", and check out all the available options both in part-time and full-time periods.

There aren't any employment processes like interviews. You'll be instantly hired, and your work schedule will be available in your Zoi schedule. To check it out, click on "Edit City" or press M (map) on your keyboard and go to "Edit Schedule". You can see all your appointments and events there.

There are two types of jobs: in-site or off-site. This means that for some jobs, you'll need to move voluntarily to your job place and complete tasks to gain experience.

The in-site jobs are divided into two parts: you'll receive three tasks during the first half of your shift and the remaining tasks for the second half.

These tasks come with time limits, and failing to complete them on time will result in lost job experience. However, if you finish all your tasks before the scheduled end of your shift, you’re free to leave early with no penalties.

For offsite jobs, you can view available tasks by clicking the icon to the left of your Zoi's profile in the family panel on the right side of the screen. These tasks don’t have time limits and contribute equally to your promotion experience. During offsite jobs, you'll encounter random events that require your attention. These events will pause your gameplay, regardless of what you’re doing at the time.

To check out your progress bar, you can access your phone and go to "My Career". There, you'll see your job, your progress percentage, and your unexcused absence. Three days missing and you'll be fired.
