Hearthstone Battlegrounds introduces Technotavern for Season 9
Season 9 of Battlegrounds is almost here, and the game is introducing fans to the Technotavern, a futuristic take on the classic Tavern that players can join.
The new season will introduce their new Heroes and new Battleground tokens.
So, when does Season 9 of Hearthstone Battlegrounds release?
Release date
The official release date for the Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 9 is December 3, 2024.
All new Heroes
The new season of Battlegrounds will also introduce three new Heroes that players can add to their decks. At the moment, only one new Hero has been released, named Farseer Nobundo.
The season will also include 90 new and returning minions and 11 all-new spells. Alongside this change, Hearthstone will remove 90 old minions, which more information will be revealed about in the upcoming weeks.

New Battleground Tokens
New Battleground Tokens will also be added to the game, allowing players to have more Hero choices. The game will be introducing Hero Rerolls, which will allow players to reroll one of their Heroes at the beginning of each match.
Hearthstone has made it clear that they hear people's complaints about having to play with Heroes at the beginning of a game that they may not want to use, so this is a way to help combat that issue.
Players will have to use one Battleground Token per each reroll.
More rewards with Season Pass+
The game also has a new Season Pass with a Season Pass+ with more rewards for those who purchase it. Below is a list of all the rewards within both Season Passes:
