You don't have to look far to find Fortnite Ballistic once you load into the game. With this being a brand-new experience, Epic Games has made it accessible to all prospective players. You should see two Ballistic game modes front-and-center from the lobby: Unranked and Ranked. You must select one and press the 'Play' button to queue into a match.

Ballistic allows you to play as a solo with random teammates or with anywhere between one and four teammates. Ranked offers the same options, but you will be penalized for leaving a Ranked match early.

What is the objective in the Fortnite FPS game mode?

Now that you know how to play Fortnite Ballistic, let's dive deeper into the objective. There are two teams in a given match: Attackers and Defenders. Like Counter-Strike and VALORANT, the Attackers must either eliminate the enemy team or successfully detonate the bomb, called the Rift Point Device. The Defenders must eliminate the enemy team or defuse the bomb.

The first team to win seven rounds will claim victory. However, it's worth noting that the two teams will swap sides after six rounds, meaning Attackers will become Defenders and vice versa. There are several paths to victory, but you must utilize the buying phase, weapons, and gadgets to outwit the opposing team effectively.
