Here’s how you can acquire the First Blood Medallion in Fortnite!
Scorpion from the Mortal Kombat series has spawned into Fortnite as a boss character in the game's latest update. Those who locate this non-player character (NPC) and defeat him can obtain two Fortnite items: Scorpion's Mythic Kombat Kit and the First Blood Medallion.
This guide explains how you can get your hands on Scorpion's First Blood Medallion and what you can do with it.
Where can I find the Scorpion NPC in Fortnite?
As of update v34.21, Scorpion spawns at one of three new landmarks taken directly from iconic Mortal Kombat stages: The Pit, Dead Pool, and Living Forest. Once you exit the Battle Bus, you will see a Scorpion icon on your map, indicating where you can find the undead hellspawn.
Head to that location and be aware of your surroundings and potential enemies. You can trigger the Scorpion boss fight by hitting a gong adorned with the classic Mortal Kombat dragon logo. After he appears, you must do everything possible to take him down to obtain Fortnite's First Blood Medallion.

Upon defeating the Scorpion boss character, he will drop the Mythic Kombat Kit and First Blood Medallion. The Medallion does not occupy an item slot but a separate position in your inventory. However, it is worth noting that it will partially reveal your location on the map.
The function of the First Blood Fortnite Medallion will cause the first shot in your magazine to explode when it hits an enemy. It's not the best item, but it's fun and worth trying at least once. However, we wouldn't suggest going too far out of your way to acquire it.
