The road to Unreal in Fortnite Ballistic Ranked has begun!

Fortnite's new 5v5 first-person shooter game mode has officially launched in early access. Like Counter-Strike and VALORANT, Fortnite Ballistic puts all the fun of Fortnite's movement, weapons, and gadgets into a round-based tactical experience.

While new players may want to start in the Unranked playlist, Fortnite Ballistic also has a Ranked mode for those looking to challenge themselves. Here is a complete list of all Fortnite Ballistic ranks from lowest to highest!

All Fortnite Ballistic Ranks in Ranked mode

Fortnite Ballistic Ranked utilizes the same system as the game's other modes, including Battle Royale and Zero Build. All players must work their way up from Bronze to the higher ranks. Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond each have three levels to progress through to reach the next rank.

How does the progression work in Ballistic?

Your rank progression depends on many factors, including winning and losing a match. Winning will bring you closer to the next rank while losing could de-rank you. Epic Games outlined the elements to determine your rank at the end of each Fortnite Ballistic match.

Here is the breakdown from most impactful to least impactful:

  • Current rank
  • Rounds won
  • Rounds lost
  • Eliminations
  • Assists
  • AFK or leaving players will result in additional rank loss

Are there penalties for leaving a match early?

Players who queue into a Ranked Fortnite Ballistic match will be penalized for disconnecting early. Although you can reconnect if your game or internet crashes, those who don't reconnect before the game ends will receive progressively longer penalties for each infraction. Your first offense results in a one-minute ban, while seven or more offenses result in a 12-hour ban.
