Make the glowing stop.

The Season 1 Reloaded update introduced a plethora of content in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 across multiplayer and Zombies. From new maps to fresh events and gameplay items, the update certainly doesn't lack things to do and explore. However, since the update, players have noticed that enemies are glowing green in Black Ops 6 for no apparent reason.

Random enemies just have a bright, green glow around them, making them much more difficult to see and kill. It's been driving players mad and we can safely say it's not just you that's experiencing the issue. To see why this is happening, keep reading the guide below.

Fortunately, the glowing green problem is contained to the Nuketown Holiday map. You won't see players with the green glow on any other map, so you can avoid the issue simply by avoiding Nuketown Holiday.

Of course, Nuketown Holiday is one of the best maps to come out of Season 1 Reloaded and many players enjoy playing on it more than most other maps in Black Ops 6.

So why does the map make players glow green? Well, it appears to simply be a bug with the map and affects random players at the start of a match. Some players have guessed that whoever gets first-blooded on Nuketown Holiday gets the infamous green glow but that has been debunked.

Another theory is that when Santa Claus flies over the map at the start of a match, he drops the green glow onto random players. While this technically can't be debunked, it seems unlikely the developers would willingly make random enemies more difficult to kill. Still, Activision has yet to even acknowledge the green glowing players in Black Ops 6, so this theory holds a little weight.

If the green glow is part of an Easter Egg with Santa, then the community hasn't figured out if there are additional steps to it. For now, most players are sticking with the theory that the green glow is a bug and something the developers at Treyarch will have to fix.
