Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has a weapon for just about everybody. If you're a long-range fanatic, you'll find several snipers and marksman rifles to suit your needs. Maybe you enjoy tighter combat. Then there are a plethora of shotguns at your disposal. And perhaps you have a mixed playstyle that sees you often switch to your sidearm to finish off those pesky enemies trying to escape. If that's the case, then the P890 is the pistol for you. The best loadout for the P890 in MW2 makes it a devastating two-shot kill if you land them to the upperbody, along with great handling so you won't get caught off guard while rounding a corner.

With any weapon loadout, you'll have to gain access to the weapon first. Thankfully, the P890 pistol is available from the start. It stands alone in the BRUEN 890 Weapon Platform. You can use it immediately when you purchase MW2 and dive into its multiplayer modes. Be sure you do that, because you'll need to level it up to unlock its attachment slots.

When the P890 reaches level 11, all of its attachment slots are open for use. To get to that level, you simply need to gain XP with the weapon. A Double Weapon XP token will make it faster or you can rack up kills in modes like Invasion or Ground War if you don't have one. That should raise its level very quickly.
