Change your sensitivity back to its original form in Black Ops 6.

One of the major aspects of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 that was changed in Season 1 Reloaded is controller sensitivity values. Instead of the normal 1-20 scale that we've seen for years, Treyarch has changed things up and we now have a much broader scale. This allows players to more accurately fine-tune their sensitivity, but it has caused much confusion in the days following Season 1 Reloaded.

Many players aren't sure where to set their sensitivity to match what they previously had with the 1-20 scale. This largely stems from the fact that the sensitivity chart Treyarch posted in the Season 1 Reloaded blog post is incorrect. To get the right sensitivity for your controller in Black Ops 6, check out the guide below.

Convert your sensitivity in Black Ops 6 Season 1 Reloaded

First and foremost, we need to address why Treyarch's sensitivity chart is wrong. The new sensitivity scale uses values from 0.0-4.0 and Treyarch posted conversions for the new scale so players could easily convert their previous 1-20 sensitivity following Season 1 Reloaded. According to many different sources, though, namely TheXclusiveAce, the conversions Treyarch posted are off by slim margins.

While this doesn't seem like a big deal, putting your new sensitivity at 1.70 compared to 1.60 makes you jump an entire point with the old 1-20 scale. Fortunately, TheXclusiveAce did their own conversions to fix the incorrect ones done by Treyarch. They also included sensitivities from MW3, as the values between MW3 and Black Ops 6 aren't 1:1. Below, you can see TheXclusiveAce's new sensitivity conversion chart for Black Ops 6:

As you can see, the old 1-20 scale sensitivities for Black Ops 6 are in the middle and the new scale sensitivities are on the right side of the chart. To convert your sensitivity following Season 1 Reloaded, find what sensitivity you used in the middle of the chart and then look at the right side to see your new sensitivity value. So, for example, if you used 7 horizontal and 7 vertical sensitivity before Season 1 Reloaded, you want to switch to 1.65 for both sensitivities now.

Alternatively, if you're just getting into Black Ops 6 now but did play MW3, you can look at the left side of the chart to see your MW3 sensitivity. Then, based on that number, change your sensitivity in BO6 to the corresponding value on the graph.

This is the correct way to convert your sensitivity, so make sure you're not following Treyarch's chart they posted in the Season 1 Reloaded blog post.
