A dominant, non-Black Ops 6 weapon in Warzone.
Over the course of Season 1 in Call of Duty: Warzone, a few different weapons have been established in the meta. A majority of these weapons are from Black Ops 6, as one would expect. However, there's one gun from Modern Warfare 2 that has made a surprising emergence. The RAAL MG light machine gun has become one of the strongest guns in Warzone primarily thanks to a key attachment on its loadout.
Players have access to all MW2 and MW3 weapons in the current version of Warzone. This is in addition to the Black Ops 6 offerings, giving players plenty of options in the Gunsmith. For one of the most accurate and lethal choices out of them all, though, you want to go with the RAAL MG.

Attachments for the best RAAL MG loadout in Warzone
There are a couple of different loadouts for the RAAL MG that players have been using since the MW2 days in Warzone. However, the best one uses a specific attachment that was unlocked during the course of MW3 last year. You can see the entire loadout plus how to unlock that attachment below:
- Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x
- Muzzle: Quartermaster Suppressor
- Rear Grip: STIP-40
- Stock: Demo H-40
- Aftermarket Part: JAK Protean
The attachment you want to make sure you use is the JAK Protean Aftermarket Part. If you don't have the JAK Protean unlocked for the RAAL MG, you have to go through the Armory in Warzone to unlock it. Unfortunately, at the time of writing, the Armory menu is offline while the developers work out some kinks with it.
When the Armory does come back, you can access it through the Warzone menus, activate the JAK Protean from it, and earn it by completing challenges. The Armory is only available after reaching level 24 as well, regardless of your prestige. This means if you prestige in Warzone, you need to reach level 24 again to re-access the Armory.
Something else to note is the Quartermaster Suppressor, another attachment on the loadout, might also need to be unlocked through the Armory if you didn't unlock it during MW3. The rest of the loadout's attachments come standard on the RAAL MG, so you just need to level the LMG up to use them.
