Sniping is back in a big way in BO6, and the LW3A1 Frostline is a great launching point for the class.

The LW3A1 Frostline fits the bill for a great all-rounder option as far as snipers are concerned in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 — but only if you set up your loadout correctly!

Here's everything you need to know about the perfect LW3A1 Frostline loadout in Black Ops 6.

The LW3A1 Frostline is the default sniper rifle available from level one in Black Ops 6 multiplayer. It's a real jack-of-all-trades with decent reload speed and aim-down-sight speed.

It's important to note that shots to the upper body will only kill from the lower neck and shoulders up — a shot to the torso won't cut it here. As always our sniper loadout attachments are centered around boosting ADS and sprint-to-fire speed for that sweet quickscoping action.

Best secondary weapon for the LW3A1 Frostline

Your secondary weapon choice is up to you, but given we're running Fast Hands, a pistol is recommended over a launcher.

I personally prefer the Grekhova and its full-auto fire option as it can save me in a close-range engagement. If I run out of ammo in a longer-range fight I prefer to reposition and reload or, if they're chasing, take another angle and have the sidearm at the ready.

Lethal and Tactical equipment to use

Equipment in this case is entirely up to the player. I'm including what I like to use below:

  • Lethal: Stim Shot
  • Tactical: Semtex
  • Field Upgrade: Scrambler

The Stim Shot is incredibly handy for mid-range fights where SMGs or Assault Rifles fail to land the kill, allowing you to step to cover and heal up immediately. Pair this with a Scrambler; play around its AoE and remain hidden from UAVs while also disabling enemy minimaps nearby.

I've gone with the tried-and-tested Semtex as my lethal pick but again, it's up to you for this option!
